TOUR FARU

La comunicación fluida con Cornelius y Mónica nos dio la confianza de contratar Safaris Africa United para un tour a través de varios parques naturales en la zona norte de Tanzania (Tour Faru). Un tour que con el coche privado y la atención especial de nuestro guía, Tesha, permitió que toda la familia disfrutara de esta experiencia. Mencionar que mi madre, llegó a Tanzania en silla de ruedas y muletas a causa de un accidente antes del viaje, y tanto Cornelius como Tesha, hicieron todo lo posible para que disfrutase al 100% del viaje. Tanzania es un país maravilloso, su gente, flora, fauna... te deja sin palabras. Una experiencia inolvidable para toda la familia.

Acabamos de aterrizar en España de nuestra primera experiencia en un safari. No queremos esperar más a poder dejar nuestra opinión por aquí, ya que queremos compartir lo vivido. La elección con la agencia ha sido un 10, tanto la gestión con Monica, Cornelius y nuestro guía y chofer Tesha, así como con las personas que hemos coincidido en los diferentes alojamientos. Cabe destacar la amabilidad tan grande y la entrega de todos ellos, nos hicieron sentirnos protagonistas de esta experiencia. Nuestro guía Tesha, y gran conductor, hizo que esta experiencia nunca se nos olvide. Nos volvemos sintiendo mucha gratitud, y con tranquilidad de saber que no podríamos a ver elegido algo mejor.

How do you sum up what makes a trip of a lifetime? With the dream team consisting of Elias Mungure and Laurian Basso from Safaris Africa United, thats how! My husband and I were so excited to be traveling together with the rest of my family of 9 to Tanzania for a highly anticipated three week trip. My parents had been lucky to have traveled to the area before and were most fortunate to have Elias as a guide back then. They became friends and kept in touch over the years. Together with Cornelius Lyamuya at Safaris Africa United they planned a most spectacular trip for our family. For our first safari day we went to Tarangire National Park. After spending the night in Karatu, we then continued through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area up to the western part of central Serengeti. For the next three nights we stayed at Pamoja Luxury Camp from where we did game drives all day. After Serengeti, we spent another night in Karatu to visit the Ngorongoro Crater for a day. On the way back to Arusha, we stayed one night at Ngare Lodge in Mto wa Mbu to do a village tour and also visit a Masaai village outside Mto wa Mbu. I feel like a trip like this could go in many different directions, and perhaps the most important thing that you can’t always control is how knowledgeable and attentive your guides are, and on this trip we very much had the dream team. Both Elias and Laurian are extremely knowledgeable, not only about every single possible animal (that their trained eyes can seemingly spot miles away) but also about all the flora and landscape, the culture and history of the region and how everything is connected. They’re both excellent drivers, speak perfect English and are so well adept, multifaceted and knowledgeable that we joked they would also even pilot our plane home. Apart from all their deep knowledge they are also extremely kind, courteous, friendly, funny and super attentive. To be able to be that to 9 people, in a family consisting of three generations and have every single person walk away being deeply satisfied about their experience surely is no small feat. This was not just a vacation, it was truly a life changing experience and it was that because of the endless efforts that our trusted guides put in. Elias and Laurian we cannot thank you enough for giving us this most precious gift. We saw it all, the Big Five (Black Rhino included), a close up hunt from three beautiful lionesses just before the sun was setting which was pure magic, overall no less that 50 lions, cheetah, leopard, serval, so many elephants (we even had elephants walk straight by our tent one night in our camp), giraffes, zebras, water buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, mongoose, ostriches, monkeys, baboons, flamingos, cranes, eagles, a wildebeest migration, impala, hyenas, warthog, secretary bird…..the list goes on and on. We also saw vast endless landscapes with so many beautiful trees, views that took your breath away, both in scale and beauty. We had excellent local Tanzanian food, danced and laughed together with the Masaai. Overall, we had so many amazing moments on this trip that it’s hard to summarize. I will forever cherish our safari and never forget what a privilege it was to get to experience it all. Not only seeing and learning about the many different animals, but also experiencing the wonderful spirit and kindness of the Tanzanian people. Its humbling to be reminded that we are all very much connected to each other and to our planet despite our many cultural differences. It was wonderful to see that “circle of life” in it's true form up close and personal, and experience that connection between the people, the land, the animals and the flora and fauna. Honestly, all I can really say is 'don’t hesitate, just go'! And, really look no further than Safaris Africa United. Memorable safari experience As a group of nine people from three different generations, we embarked on an extraordinary African safari adventure arranged by Safari Africa United and guided by the exceptional duo, Elias and Laurian. This incredible journey brought us closer together, forging unforgettable memories and bonding experiences that transcended age barriers. The seamless blend of excellent driving, attentiveness, flexibility, humor, and knowledge provided by our guides made the safari enjoyable for every member of our diverse group. Witnessing the Big Five and a plethora of other animals in their natural habitat was a truly awe-inspiring experience that united us in wonder and appreciation for the wonders of nature. As we savored the lovely food and felt the warm hospitality, we found ourselves immersed in an authentic African safari, creating lasting connections and a shared appreciation for the beauty of the wilderness. This trip proved to be a testament to the power of travel, bringing together three generations under one incredible adventure that will be cherished for a lifetime. Hemos disfrutado de una semana de Safari extraordinaria. Quiero agradecer a Cornelius por su trato, siempre pendiente de nosotros, cada día. Tesha, nuestro conductor nos llevó en el Safari por caminos poco habituales, por lo que pudimos disfrutar de los animales sin aglomeraciones de coches. Sin duda recomiendo mucho si estás pensando en hacer un safari que contactes con Cornelius con safaris África United.

In the middle of June 2023, my family and I, a total of nine people (ages 20 to 81), went on a safari arranged by Safari Africa United. The safari had been planned since the beginning of 2020 and was supposed to take place in 2021, the year when I myself turned 80 and my oldest daughter 50. Then the pandemic happened, which is why we couldn’t go until 2023. The planning of the trip took place with Elias Mungure, a safari guide with whom I’ve had the privilege of participating in two previous safaris. Elias is exceptionally knowledgeable about animals and nature, a skilled driver as well as a person with a well-developed sense of humor who can always be trusted. He has a burning interest in that part of Tanzania he wants to show us off. The planning process began with me sending over a rough proposal to Elias containing which parks we wanted to visit and suggestions for places to spend the night. After some bouncing back and forth, a more precise proposal emerged. The next stage involved Elias contacting a good friend, Cornelius Lyamuya, who is the head of Safari Africa United. Cornelius contacted me and after repeated contacts, with many questions from me which were immediately answered, I received a cost proposal which I accepted. The safari was carried out with two cars, one with Elias as guide, and the other with equally knowledgeable Laurian Basso as our guide. We first spent a few nights in Arusha to rest up after the long journey (my youngest daughter and her husband live in California). The first safari day we visited Tarangire National Park. After spending the night in Karatu, we continued on the second day through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area up to the western part of the central Serengeti where the migration was at that time. Further, we spent three nights in Pamoja Luxury Camp from where we did game drives all day. After the Serengeti, we spent another night in Karatu to visit the Ngorongoro Crater the next day. On the way back, we stayed one night at Ngare Lodge in Mto wa Mbu to do a village tour the next day and also a visit to a Masaai village outside Mto wa Mbu before returning to Arusha. I have to give Safari Africa United the very highest marks for the arrangement, there is not a single thing to criticize. Apart from all the nature experiences we had (which of course cannot be directed but are influenced by skilled guides) everything has worked perfectly (yes, among other things we saw the Big Five). Even the visit to the Masaai village had a high degree of authenticity unlike what we had previously seen from a distance. I would also like to emphasize the kindness and warmth we encountered, as Laurian put it: We meet you as customers but part as friends. All in all, I would highly recommend Safari Africa United as a safari organizer. They facilitated for us a unique and wonderful experience that I know our family will never forget. Safari raccomandato al 100%! Lo scambio di informazioni con Monica e Cornelio è statao molto facile, hanno capito perfettamente ciò che stavamo cercando e ci hanno organizzato un programma che si adattava a pennello alle nostre esigenze e ad un prezzo abbastanza ragionevole. Durante il safari abbiamo avuto una guida spettacolare, Mike è riuscito a farci vedere i big 5 e tutti gli animali che desideravamo osservare. È un maestro conducendo la jeep per i sentieri del parco nazionale. Cornelio ci ha prestato molta attenzione…l’ imprenditore più umano che abbia incontrato durante il mio soggiorno di un mese in Tanzania! Non si è lasciato sfuggire nessun dettaglio ed è una persona davvero di cuore. Asante Sana Cornelio!

Recomiendo el Safari con ellos al 100%, no os arrepentiréis. La comunicación con Mónica y Cornelius fue muy fácil, entendieron lo que queríamos a la perfección y nos organizaron un planning que se adaptaba a nosotros y a muy buen precio. En el safari tuvimos un guía espectacular, Mike consiguió que viéramos los 5 grandes y TODOS los animales que queríamos ver. Era un maestro del jeep por los caminos de tierra del parque. Cornelius es muy atento y el empresario más humano que he conocido en Tanzania. No se le escapa detalle y tiene un gran corazón. Asante Sana Cornelius!💜

Acabamos de llegar de nuestro viaje, antes de nada dar las gracias a Mónica, Cornelius y a nuestro querido guía Anold,. Nos enseñó a los 5 grandes y nos explicó todo con mucho detalle y cariño .Estamos encantados de nuestra vivencia en este hermoso país. Ha sido un gran acierto depositar nuestra confianza en vosotros ,habéis sobrepasado nuestras expectativas , hicimos 6 días de safari y 5 días de resort en Zanzíbar , a cuál mejor los hoteles escogidos también de 10. No descarto repetir experiencia y sin duda alguna será con vosotros . Asante Sana.
