The Arusha National Park is located 45 km from Arusha and covers an area of 322 square km. It has a great variety of topography and different ecosystems, including African acacias, volcanoes, lakes, jungle forests and high mountains.
Among the animals that we will see in the Arusha National Park are zebras, hippos, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, black and white colobus, leopards, vervet monkeys, baboons, conchs, redounches, elephants, mongooses, wild boars and a great diversity of birds.
We will not see neither lions nor the Rhino. Due to poaching they are no longer found in the park.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest point in Africa, it has an altitude of 5895 meters. This ancient volcano is a World Heritage Site. Its interest as a park is not in its fauna, which is not abundant, but in ascending the volcanic massif. Mandatory ascent with a registered guide. Park that has a very diverse flora and large densities of mammals and although they are seen less there are also leopards, climbing lions, hyenas and numerous and diverse birds such as Flamingos that live on the shore of the lake.
Declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area occupies 8292 square km. The Crater with 19 km wide and an area of 264 square km is one of the largest calderas in the world.
The Ngorongoro has nine volcanoes and the only one that is active is the Oldoinyo Lengai “Mountain of God”. Its great variety of landscapes and habitats is impressive. Inside the crater there is an immense concentration of wild animals. Natural scene of the largest herds of ungulates in the world, predators and the possibility of seeing the threatened Black Rhinoceros, in danger of extinction.
It is worth noting the impressive view of the caldera from the top. The Conservation Area is inhabited by more than 110,000 Maasai herdsmen. They can be seen tending cattle and goats. You will be impressed by children who herding from a very young age.
If you wish, you can schedule a visit to the Oldupai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites in Africa. Fossils of more than 60 hominids have been found.
Called infinite plain by the Maasai, it was their land and they were displaced since it was declared a National Park with a view to preserving wildlife.

Lake Victoria, also known as Victoria Nyanza or Ukerewe, is located in east-central Africa, surrounded by Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Lake Natron is an African endorheic salt lake located in the Great Rift Valley, in Tanzania, on the border of Kenya. Next to it is the Ol Doinyo Lengai stratovolcano. Its approximate area is 600-800 square kilometers. Its waters are dyed red by the proliferation of algae. Chlorine, sodium and magnesium salts are extracted from the lake, forming spirals of sodium carbonate that emerge from the depths of the earth through geysers.
The only ones capable of surviving in this environment are the Alcolopia Alcalica fish and the flamingos, which consume algae by filtering the alkaline waters with their beaks, so your visit is the ideal setting to spot flamingos. The Maasai live in the Lake Natron area with little influence from outside life.
