Combine visits to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire or Lake Manyara with the values of authenticity, exclusivity or sustainability. Plan your dream safari to Tanzania now!
On this 6-day luxury safari we will cover the 4 most popular destinations in Tanzania – Ndutu (2 nights), Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire & Manyara. With our experienced driver guides, it will be a trip of a lifetime! According to the last few years pattern, the possibility of sighting the migration is in the Ndutu region from last week of December to March. Hence, this tour is recommended for the tour date between last week of December and beginning of April. You will sleep in luxury hotels or lodges.
Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha) you will be met by Safari Africa United’s representative and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

The park with its endless tree savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. You are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Your guide will open the roof of the vehicle for excellent wildlife viewing. Hot Lunch will be served at around 12:30 pm at the picnic site and after that you will continue to explore this incredible park.
In the evening after exploration, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu area for dinner and overnight stay.

Your safari will begin by 8:00 am in the morning with a pick up from your hotel in Karatu and head towards the Ndutu region. A few minutes commencing the drive, you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) where you will notice the landscape changing from hilly forests to plain and green grasslands. Once you reach Ndutu you will begin a half day game drive with a convenient stop for your picnic lunch. Sweeping grasslands cover the region which gradually fade into the Serengeti. Ndutu forms a part of the route for the annual migration of more than 2 million wildebeests and thousands of zebra, antelope and gazelle. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators prying on vulnerable young wildebeest.
After game viewing, you will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you.
Destination: | South Serengeti National Park / Ndutu |
Accommodation: | Lake Masek Tented Lodge |
Meal plan: | All-inclusive (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) + drinks |
Stunned by the previous day’s spotting of the migration, today you get another chance to view the beautiful wildlife spectacle. The Ndutu region is a part of the glorious Serengeti National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Today you will be following the migration depending on its location. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators preying on vulnerable young wildebeest.
The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening by around 5 PM. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro conservation area whereby you stop at the view point of Ngorongoro crater before you descend down the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 square kilometres, with sides up to 600 metres deep and is home to approximately 30,000 mammals.
The crater offers a breathtakingly beautiful scenery and is the best place in East Africa to see the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and rarely leopard). Any safari in northern Tanzania should ideally include a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater offers excellent birding, with over 500 species. You will have packed picnic lunch boxes with you and after having lunch at the picnic site, you will proceed with game drive until the late afternoon where you will ascend the crater and drive straight to your lodgings in Karatu for overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast at, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even for a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests.
Lunch will be served inside the park and after further exploration of the park you will return to Arusha. Those who wish to combine this safari with a trip to Zanzibar can take a flight from the local Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

EXCELENTEA base de 54 reseñasTrustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google.Sara FernandezSafari Africa United and its great team have made it possible for my brother and I to have the best trip of our lives. We had been wanting to go on a safari for a long time, so we had very high expectations and Cornelius and his team have not let us down, quite the opposite. From the first day, our guide Evance and our driver Zubira became the best adventure companions we could have. With a 100% professional and friendly treatment, they made the 6 days we were on safari fantastic, full of laughter and animals in equal parts. We have learned a lot thanks to them, both about animals and about Tanzanian culture and customs. Without a doubt, I will recommend Safari Africa United to all my family, friends and contacts who are thinking of taking a trip of this type. We will always be grateful to Cornelius for giving us the opportunity to live this experience, and especially to Evance and Zubira for making it possible and taking care of us, from the first day to the last. Eugenio MennaUna aventura inolvidable. My partner and I chose Safari Africa United for our 8 day mid range private safari and it was beyond our expectations. Safari Africa United is a locally owned company which I think really sets them apart from the big ones in delivering a more personalized experience. Cornelius (the owner of the company) delivered everything that our package outlined and more. He was also very responsive and flexible when we were a bit late getting into Arusha, as well as very prompt in emailing me back when I was booking the experience. Our guide was Laurian and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the animals, tribes and culture of Tanzania, and the diverse landscapes. Laurian was also a safe driver (super important on the dirt roads/ rough terrain of the Serengeti). We saw so many animals every day- way more than expected including the big five as well as The Great Migration and so many more. The accommodations were exactly as promised and all the staff were very hospitable and friendly as well. Laurian and Cornelius both delivered an amazing experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google.Leire LizarragaWe did a 6-day safari in Tanzania with Safari Africa United and it was great. They met us at the airport and accompanied us for 6 days. We felt very well looked after and protected. They knew the terrain very well and we saw a lot of animals. We had a driver and a guide and at all times we could choose different plans or routes, adapting 100% to our needs. I recommend you to choose this company.
